Talked to my son the other day and he told me he has taken snow plow off the truck, so i guess it is time to pack up and head home to Meadowbrook Camping area.  I will be leaving 10 days from today. just checked my 10 forecast an weather looks good. will be heading to Natchez, ms first and ride Trace to Nashville.  Then to Hunts for camp out with the group. from their to blue ridge and a stop in Schuyler, Va at Walton’s mountain and then to Arlington to pays respects to a friend from navy who passed last year. should make Maine sometime in Jun. If i don’t give my son a date he won’t put me on the schedule to work at our campground. I am looking forward to lobster diner when i arrive.

05/30/2014 up and about at 545 and it is raining. so i still have to load the last of my stuff. By 645 rained slowed down so got everything loaded, but front tire looked a little low and i just checked yesterday and i filled up. SO at 730 i headed to Enterprize and called joe martin and he said he would meet me there. Got there, about 10 am  and we pulled tire off and replaced valve stem.  We also did oil change as i was just about due and would come due on trip, so i had it done.  12 noon i was back on road heading for Mississippi. After couple of hours it started raining. stopped and put chaps and raincoat on and continued.  All of a sudden BOOM! Lightening hit on road right next to me.  Knocked my GPS off line but came back on. It was really raining. Continued raining until about 35 miles east of Hattisburg, soaked i pulled into a motel 6 for the night.

Stay tuned
