As a lot of you know that I moved from Okeechobee up to Ruskin. Fl this year. I sold my place and bought a 25 ft. class c Motorhome. I found a great place to camp. E. G. Simmons is a county park that is beautiful. It was named after George Ellsworth Simmons, long time rancher and philanthropist. The 458-acre park has a lot of things to do. There are 110 sites but no sewer, but has a dump, Station. Check out website: https://hcfl.gov/locations/eg-simmons-conservation-park if you are coming to the Tampa St. Pete area. They do not take reservations so plan your arrival early in morning as it is first come first serve. I would like to thank the staff as they were all professional, cheerful and extremely friendly all the time. Thanks for a great stay! I will be leaving on Wednesday.
